Student YMCAs
This year, college students in Montgomery and the surrounding region have a unique opportunity
to be charter members of a group of Student YMCAs. Student YMCAs for collegiates are being
established at Auburn University - Montgomery, Alabama State, Huntindon, and Faulkner, and
possibly more. These groups will be engaged in fun and meaningful activities throughout the year.

YMCA Collegiate Legislature
Alabama has the only YMCA sponsored Legislative program for College students in the country.
Officers work hard each year to plan and execute a world-class conference that places an emphasis
on moral, ethical leadership while giving numerous opportunities for networking, statesmanship,
debate, and practicing Parliamentary Procedure. Participants learn about state government by
preparing bills on a topic that they think would make Alabama a better place to live. Several
state leaders are part of the conference and bring their prospectives to the students' attention.
This year's conference will be held March 5-7, 2009 in Montgomery, AL.
